We take no chances during surgical procedures. During the procedure or surgery your pet's heart, respirations, temperature, EKG, and blood pressure are closely monitored just as would be done if you were in surgery. Our doctors take measures to control pain before and after surgery to make the experience as comfortable as possible. During and after surgery, each patient is closely monitored by our highly trained technicians and the doctor is alerted to changing conditions.
Our in-house diagnostic laboratory can give initial results within minutes. More complicated tests on blood and urine may take a few minutes longer but we rarely need to send blood to an outside lab. We monitor our patients closely and use this information to modify our treatment plan on an ongoing 24 hour basis.
